Winter Nights is a Melodic Death Metal band from New York City, founded in 2007. It takes its name from the Old Norse vetrnætr which was a specific time of year in medieval Scandinavia. Their lyrics are mostly associated with apocalyptic endings, death, the afterlife and survival during the seasons harsh conditions.
