Soul Crusher was born Namir Blade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin July 3, 1992. As a child he had a growing passion for music and the arts which was due to his father being a producer. His first instrument was piano, which he picked up at the tender age of 6. He never took lessons due to him not being able to afford them when he moved to Nashville, Tennessee.
