Lal Chand Yamla Jatt ( March 28, 1914 - December 20, 1991 ) was a renowned Punjabi folk-singer from Punjab, India popularly known was "Ustad Ji". He was the doyen of the Punjabi Music and first singer that comes to mind who laid foundation of Punjabi music in Indian Punjab. He was widely revered as "ustad" among his singer contemporaries and as "yamla jatt" by his audience.
