Yossif Ivanov was born in 1986 in Antwerp, Belgium. At the age of five he received his first violin lessons. He continued his musical education with Zakhar Bron in Lübeck, and later with Igor & Valery Oistrakh at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the Queen Elisabeth College of Music.
