ZAP! Armadillo started in Frankfurt, Germany, comprised of high schoolers Bennett Jenisch, Devon Fisher and Chris Shields. Originally creating solely instrumental electronic tracks, after Shields left the band to pursue separate projects their songs became more developed and started spanning subgenres thanks in part to the addition of vocals.
