Haruka Ayase (綾瀬はるか, born in Asaminami, Hiroshima, Japan) is a Japanese actress, model and singer. Since her first appearance in Japanese entertainment in 2001 she became really popular, starring TV dramas and movies. In 2006 she starts her musical career, releasing her debut single "ピリオド", which was written by singer-songwriter 持田香織 and produced by musician 小林武史.
