Rut and Al Crockett (A.C.), were both born and raised in Boston, Massachussetts. They first met at a coffee house/Punk Rock show at Umass in Amherst back in 1991. Rut's band "Hydapipe 64" and Al's band "Bugjuice" both played that night. They formed a cool and close friendship from that day and often jammed out in basements in and around the Allston/Amherst areas of Boston.
