Dark Morning started while guitarist/singer (Ryan Kaminski) and drummer (Brad Stroka) were juniors in high school. Soon after they found bassist Jenna Willis and started writing songs. They auditioned for the school Battle of the Bands and failed hard. The following year they tried again, and failed again. Somewhere along the road Jenna parted ways to start playing with a new band and Dark Morning picked up bassist Adam Batt.
