Ilana Eliya perform an unusual repertoire of Kurdish songs, both old and contemporary. The singer, Ilana Eliya was born in Jerusalem to parents who immigrated to from Kurdistan. Already as a child, her voice attracted attention, but it was only after her father's death that she dared sing in public.
