Klyde Konnor was a Midwestern three piece prarie-psych band based out of Wichita, KS circa 1985 – 1991. The name was a re-spelling of a neighbor’s name who always came over to ask them to stop playing. An agreement was arrived at where they could play on Saturday afternoons from 1 until 4PM. This was when the wife had her hair done. So, it was on those afternoons that Klyde tracked the louder parts of the initial band recordings.
