Mariana Aydar is the daughter of the musician Mario Manga and Bia Aydar, a Brazilian music producer. She grew up backstage, sleeping in dressing rooms, hanging out with studio musicians, learning to sing, play the cello and guitar and absorbing diverse musical influences.
