OFS early demo first caught the attention of Mark Burgess, Chameleons UK singer, but because of prior commitments and work with his own projects, was not available at the time for production work. Mark forwarded the demos to his manager, Rob Brown, who contacted Alan Duffy at Imaginary Records in Manchester who in turn passed them along to Chameleons guitarist Dave Fielding.
