Taking its name from the song by Alan Stevell, the Russian folk-project Telenn Gwad began in 1995 presenting a mix of Bretonish, Scottish and Irish ethnic music. They had been existing as a trio of Oleg (vocals/guitar), Pavel (flute) and Roman (contrabass) until 1999 when the latter was replaced by violincellist Andrey.
