The Rubber Maids: Originally a five then four-piece indie power-pop band out of Vernon, BC, Canada. They've had many influences from acts such as the Posies, Radiohead, The Beatles, Jellyfish, QOTSA etc... Their first album, Off Centre, was released in 2005. They successfully headlined a tour of Western Canada late 2006 and have opened for larger acts such as the Electric Six, Sam Roberts, Prism and many more.
