Un silencio blanco is the music project of graphic designer Juan Prada, founded in 2011 in Bogotá, Colombia. However, it is not his first attempt at expressing himself through sounds, as he began working as A Broken Mind in 2007. He eventually abandoned that moniker two years later, also stopping making music, until the first half of 2011. As a result of an intuitive approach to sounds, the music by un silencio blanco comes to life in a very simple and abstract way, and often meanders between post-rock, ambient and noise.
