Alvaréz Peréz is a Darkwave/Industrial Rock band from Brno, Czech Republic. The group was formed in 1993 by Ellen Kosová (vocals, guitar), Martin K. (guitar) and Jan Cupák (bass). They recorded their first demo with two songs in 1994, using a drum machine for the rhythm section. Music journalists described their sound as "ethereal female vocals, guitar noise backgrounds, hypnotic drums".
