Jegsy Dodd is an English performance poet from Wirral. He came to prominence in the 1980s when he recorded a John Peel session with his backing group, The Sons of Harry Cross. His current backing band is called The Original Sinners. Dodd’s Winebars and Werewolves album was a hit on the UK Indie Chart in 1986, reaching number 19. His track Grumpy Old Men was number one in the 2005 Festive 50.
