Kristaps Pētersons (b. 1982) is an electroacoustic and contemporary classical music composer of Valmiera, Latvia. Since 2005 Pētersons is the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra double bass musician. He has been related with Jaunais Rīgas teātris project House of Culture events; his musical works has been included and performed in the international festivals Skaņu Mežs, Arēna, Saxophonia, and other.
