Socket (Electronic/Industrial/Experimental) is Greg Brendel (since 1996).... But apparently there is another band with the same name: Formed in 2002 in Oakland, CA, SOCKET is a Bay Area jazz-funk trio influenced by Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters, James Brown, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Fela Kuti, and Charlie Hunter.
